Welcome to the National Museum of Murals
and Mosaics.
The National Museum of Murals and Mosaics is an on-line museum open to the public all day and every day. Admission is always free.
In the National Museum of Murals and Mosaics you will find representations of murals and mosaics and other forms of public art from places near and far.
We invite you to tour the museum, visit the various galleries and experience art representing themes that include portraiture, abstraction, folk art, religion, cartoons, still life, politics, graffiti and more.
Unique to the National Museum of Murals and Mosaics is an opportunity to view works in various stages of development as well as completed works. Interviews with featured artists and biographical sketches will bring you closer to the art and the contributing artists than is possible in traditional museums. Commentary by art critics and scholars offer useful insights that lend to greater understanding and enjoyment.
The public is encouraged to submit images of murals and mosaics and other forms of public art found in neighborhoods or other venues. Please see instructions for submissions found elsewhere on the site.
Please enjoy your visit.
